El ‘Ciudad de Melilla-Club Mar\u00edtimo’ se ha estrenado en la nueva temporada de cruceros con su participaci\u00f3n en la II Copa Intercontinental entre Marbella y Ceuta.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
La tripulaci\u00f3n que encabeza Jos\u00e9 Luis P\u00e9rez ha terminado en cuarta posici\u00f3n de la general y de su clase. Y eso que hasta la \u00faltima manga de la competici\u00f3n estuvo metido en puestos de podio. “Ha sido la primera regata de la temporada, a pesar de no estar en el podio hemos sacado conclusiones positivas. La tripulaci\u00f3n todav\u00eda tiene mucho margen de mejora y en esta regata ha habido un gran nivel”, aseguraba el patr\u00f3n melillense.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
La competici\u00f3n arranc\u00f3 con una primera manga de 40 millas entre Marbella y Ceuta. Una jornada con vientos muy fuertes y con el a\u00f1adido de cruzar el Estrecho. El ‘Ciudad de Melilla-Club Mar\u00edtimo’ fue el m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de la flota y el primero en amarrar en el puerto ceut\u00ed. Esto le permiti\u00f3 colocarse, en compensado, como tercero en la general provisional y como segundo en su grupo ORC1.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
El segundo d\u00eda de competici\u00f3n se tuvo que suspender dadas las malas condicionas en el campo de regatas ceut\u00ed. A\u00fan as\u00ed, la tripulaci\u00f3n melillense recog\u00eda el galard\u00f3n que les acreditaba como la primera en tiempo real en la primera manga.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Superado el ecuador de la Copa Intercontinental, la flota regresaba a Marbella. Una tercera etapa, de m\u00e1s de cuarenta millas, en las que el crucero melillense se vio relegado a un sexto puesto, tras caer en un pozo de viento y verse sorprendido por las unidades de menor eslora de la competici\u00f3n. Ya, el \u00faltimo d\u00eda de regata un cuarto lugar no le permiti\u00f3 recuperarse y se ca\u00eda de los puestos de podio, despu\u00e9s de haber estado en todo momento luchando por el segundo y tercer puesto de la general.<\/div>\n

La regata ha tenido al ‘Ceuta S\u00ed’, de Sergio Llorca, como el gran protagonista y campe\u00f3n de la II Copa Intercontinental.<\/div>\n
